Head and neck ultrasound is becoming more and more popular in several countries, as it helps considerably the clinician for the diagnosis. It has been introduced in Switzerland in 1995, and has become in 2013 a mandatory part of the training in ENT.
After the success of the first Ultrasound hands-on course in 2012, we have continued in teaching salivary gland ultrasound during the courses. This will be the 4th Ultrasound course, lasting one day. Participants will have the opportunity to train on models and patients, with the latest ultrasound technology.
There will be in the near future a separate complete Head and Neck ultrasound course and diploma.
The course is open to all specialties dealing with salivary glands, wishing to acquire this specific training.
Material needed for the course will be provided at the University Medical Center.
